Tuition Fees and Costs

The fee is € 11,000 for three semesters. It covers the teaching lessons and materials, field trips (as part of the regular program) and the use of services of the TU Berlin such as library and computer facilities (including registration fee of 240 € per semester – this includes administration fees).
In response to numerous requests the course structure has been modified to allow students to return to their home countries after the second semester. This will reduce the necessary leave to a minimum of nine months. An additional trip to Berlin for presenting and defending the thesis will be necessary.

Tuition fees have to be paid in three instalments. The first instalment will have to be paid within 4 weeks after receiving the letter of approval (€ 4.000). They do not include expenses for books, stationary, meals, health insurance, travelling, visa and accomodation.

Scholarships

Due to limited institutional resources, students are encouraged to make an effort to obtain financial support from their employing agencies, outside fellowships and private sources before seeking aid.

Housing and Living in Berlin
